Rugby Season

Last week end I dropped a the Rogerstown estuary reserve and took some shots from the hide the Irish bird watch association. Great occasion and will probably be back when I get the time to be back. This is less likely now that RUGBY has restarted. I will get back to my usual week end routine. Shopping early and photos of one off my club team in the afternoon. I had few occasions of Bird photo this summer mostly because there was none. going to visit an estuary when the light is bad is not interesting. SO back to sport photo ad hopefully a few more birds

Rugby season is over and it has been a while since I have updated my camera kit. The EOS  7D is a massive step  up from the 350D. It took me a while to get used to it. I also moved from the 70-300 and 24-85 Canon lens as my main lenses to a Sigma 30mm and 120-400. Both better than the Canon lenses I used before. So Rugby wise I think I made a step up in quality. It took a while, clearly  the best range of the 120-400 is below 300. Having said that this is also when the action is the most interesting.
