Rugby season is over and it has been a while since I have updated my camera kit.
The EOS 7D is a massive step up from the 350D. It took me a while to get used to it.
I also moved from the 70-300 and 24-85 Canon lens as my main lenses to a Sigma 30mm and 120-400.
Both better than the Canon lenses I used before.
So Rugby wise I think I made a step up in quality.
It took a while, clearly the best range of the 120-400 is below 300. Having said that this is also when the action is the most interesting.
Birds sorties have been few as I am working again and rugby takes most of my week ends.
Some landscape has been very good I appreciate the 50mm feel of the 30mm (48mm once converted with crop factor).
I also dug up the macro rings yesterday and played with them. not all that easy this year as april was rotten and the weather still quite cold.
more flowers landscape and birds. for 2-3 month before rugby restarts.
